I am a database administrator and developer based in Waukesha, WI. My database platform of choice is Microsoft SQL Server, although I have worked in the past on Oracle and DB2.
I am extremely active in the SQL Server community - mostly through my involvement with the
Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS). I have spoken at the PASS Community Summit on many occasions, and currently serve on the PASS Board of Directors as the Director of Technical Publications. I am also a founding member of the Wisconsin SQL Server User's Group, and I deliver presentations at serveral of their meetings each year. I will be posting the slide decks and demos from my presentations to my
blog.
In my role as PASS Director of Technical Publications, I am in charge of two publications - a bi-weekly newsletter (the PASS Community Connector - delivered to every PASS member) and a bi-monthly magazine (the SQL Server Standard - delivered to PASS Premium members and stand-alone subscribers).
